Sherry Casks
A wooden barrel that is typically made of American or European oak that has been used to mature Sherry wine in Spain, most famously in the Jerez region of Andalusia.
After Sherry wine is removed, these casks are highly appreciated by the Whisky and Spirits industry for the rich layered flavors they impart, including notes of dried fruit, nuts, spice, and vanilla. Their influence adds depth and character to whiskies, rums, and other aged spirits.

Why Sherry Casks
Casks are essential for aging whisky, contributing flavor, color, and aroma over time. Whisky matures in oak barrels that allow interaction with air and extraction of compounds from the wood. Sherry casks (e.g., Oloroso, PX) add rich, fruity, and sweet notes. Casks can be reused multiple times, with first fills giving the most intense influence.

Oloroso casks impart nutty, dried fruit, and spicy flavors.

Cream sherry casks add sweetness with hints of caramel and dried fruits.

Bulk Wines
For those who don’t want to order a cask and use existing casks in their distillery we offer another solution. We offer a comprehensive selection of bulk wines sourced from vineyard partners across Spain. Available in IBCs, our suppliers’ bulk wines are ideal for seasoning casks to create unique products to add to your portfolio.
Sherry wine imparts a unique and distinctive flavor we are able to export bulk wine from the Sherry Triangle of Southern Spain Although these wines are made in Jerez with Palomino Fino grapes they cannot be called Sherry wines as they are not being bottled in Jerez and have no Denomination of Origin.
Types of Bulk Wines

Fino – Light, dry, and delicate with a subtle almond finish

Manzanilla – Similar to Fino but aged near the sea, with a salty tang

Amontillado – Aged longer, developing deeper, nutty and complex notes

Oloroso – Rich, dry, and powerful with bold oxidative flavors

Cream – A blend of Oloroso and sweet wines, smooth and sweet

Pedro Ximénez (PX) – Intensely sweet and dark, made from sun-dried grapes, with flavors of raisins, figs, and molasses
